Ask a Lawyer QuestionCountry: United States of AmericaState: All States/Provinces I have a complaint against an online gambling website and I wanted to see if I stood on any legal ground. Basically, it boils down to false advertisement. Vipsports.com has a current promotion that states if you place 10 wagers on Sunday NFL games, you will receive one free Monday night football wager. I requested this last night via e-mail and they denied me stating that my wagers were not placed the Sunday PRIOR to the Monday night game and therefore did not qualify. On their website, it states nothing about this time frame. This is clearly false advertisement. Is there anything I can do about this or are they untouchable because of their industry? AnswerIt seems to us it is understood that you must bet Sunday--or did we miss something...How to thank TFD for its existence? Tell a friend about us, add a link to this page, add the site to iGoogle, or visit webmaster's page for free fun content. |
