The risks are clear but the project is being overseen by a Canadian arts company called Mammalian Diving Reflex who have initiated this kind of thing before and swear people leave happy (we do not know if the bearded gent in the picture went in with a full head of hair).
It is the latest project by Mammalian Diving Reflex, Canadian artists Darren O'Donnell and Naomi Campbell, and members of The Young REP.
Further down, one reads that the performance is the brainchild of Darren O'Donnell, artistic director of Toronto's Mammalian Diving Reflex Theatre Company, in collaboration with Outpost for Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
