My concern has todo with maternal drug testing and do doctors have the right to drug test a new born without the mothers consent and how far does torpatientonfidentiality go. Can a pregnant woman switch doctors without havening all of her files transferred to new doctor?

Answer

They cannot do so unless they have strong reason to suspect abuse or some drug problem etc.
