Amid a flurry of big-race action and emulsioning duties at home on Saturday, I didn't see that Desert Quest was running at Ascot, so it was a surprise to see him described as 'awesome' on the front of the Post the next day - like a phone call telling you a great-uncle you never knew you had has died and left you his Ferrari, although you can't pick up the keys until March.
I just hope that their next task will be emulsioning the kitchen ceiling.
Q MY daughter has just moved into her own house and wants to cover the walls with lining paper before emulsioning on top to give a smooth finish.
