CAIRO, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- The General Federation of Arab Veterinarians (GFAV) recommended the activation of the early warning of expatriates' disease in the Arab region but needed development of a practical plan to control and prevent entry of any exotic diseases and the eradication of endemic diseases.
Vets themselves were unhappy with some parts of the Government's Veterinary Surveillance Strategy and the role of vets in monitoring animals for exotic diseases.
