Now the young dancers have boosted the fund again by raising the roof and plenty of cash at their sell-out show, Welcome to Our World, staged at Solihull Arts Complex.
Rob Nichols, a member of the Brian Clough Memorial Fund committee, said: "Alistair got to meet Cloughie when they turned on the Christmas lights and I guess you could say Alistair is turning the lights on for our fund again.
The Paul James Trio, featuring three band members, will be performing in aid of the Sunshine fund again at Oldfield's Restaurant in Jesmond on October 18.
