Reported regional aggregated spot market prices per gross ton shown for each commodity are based on all Management Science Associates' (MSA) Raw Material Data Aggregation Service (RMDAS) participants' actual order data submitted to and processed by MSA as of the 20th of each respective "buy month," rounded to the whole integer. Coast Guard may propose new rules to expand AIS commercial vessel carriage requirements beyond the current 300-gross-ton minimum down to all ships of 100 gross tons or greater, any commercial vessel over 65 feet, and perhaps some smaller tugs. The average selling price for our processed ferrous scrap metal shipments was $172 per gross ton in the quarter ended December 31, 2003, compared to $112 per gross ton in the quarter ended December 31, 2002. |
