Possibility of another human hepatitis virus distinct from post-transfusion non-A, non-B type.
Hepatitis G News concerning the characterization of a new human hepatitis virus (HGV) and its implication in post-transfusion hepatitis was first discussed at the national meeting of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) in New Orleans, in November 1995.
Jeffrey Glenn, at Stanford University, they have also shown that these cells can be infected by a human hepatitis virus.
