Question

Country: United States of America
State: South Dakota

*Is it legal for police officers to gain entry to a house by threatening the owners? *Is the bathroom a new zone of privacy in south Dakota therefore requiring another warrant to enter? *If receiving a minor and given the chance to blow or admit guilt i asked the officer if there was a gap in south Dakota to blow before being legally intoxicated he replied that there was not. I then accepted my ticket, and I was wondering if there is a gap before being legally intoxicated in south Dakota?

Answer

What kind of threat--they do need permission or a warrant; the bathroom is included in the house warrant.
