After examining various descriptive measures, we fitted the regression models in table 1 iteratively to include only items that were statistically related to the behaviors and outcomes of interest, including spiritual practices, interactions with diverse peers, deep learning, and a deepened sense of spirituality and other self-reported outcomes.
