Ask a Lawyer QuestionCountry: United States of AmericaState: Florida Please answer me this, I am renting in Leesburg Florida, I pay 570.00 a month plus 35.00 for washer and 35.00 for cable, I am also paying for use of the pool, playground, and also a grilling area, included in my rent! I moved here from Maine 7 months ago, and I believe in my lease it does state these are the things that are included , and these amendments are not finished as of yet! Is their a possible refund or credit of anyway! Me and several other tenants have asked when these would be finished, and every time get a excuse...? AnswerBased on what you say here, you could probably file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to the lack of facilities--or for the reduced rental value for missing items--How to thank TFD for its existence?
