Agent Maximizations All three agents in our model are rational maximizers.
Because the aim of proposing a sole index for preference has long been the motivation behind judgment-based models, the addition of "pricing maximization" to the long list of maximizations, such as EV (expected value) maximization, EU (expected utility) maximization, SEU (subjective expected utility) maximization, and many others, does not really provide any new insight into the problem.
At issue is not only the rationality postulate but the specific characteristics of transacting that prevent the actors from achieving the joint maximizations result of the zero transaction cost model.
