Myotatic reflex responses of nondisabled children and children with spastic cerebral palsy.
Myotatic reflex irradiation in nondisabled infants and in individuals with spastic-type cerebral palsy provides indirect evidence of neonatal neural exuberance and its retention following perinatal brain damage in humans.
[2] Studies of children by Dietz [3] and Berger et al [4] suggest developmental differences of the myotatic reflex in gait between very young children (1-2 years of age) and older children (6-10 years of age).
