Country: United States of America State: Virginia I was a federal employee, working in national security. A nationally syndicated newspaper columnist divulged the nature of my job, thereby making it impossible for me to continue in my current career, forcing me to quit. Do I have grounds to sue?

Normally no, not against the paper--but your employer/ government agency /may possibly take some kind of action. They may have violated new security laws.
