Twenty-six percent of those who work chairside are in specialty offices (Chart 2) and of those, 25% assist in orthodontic offices with the balance split fairly evenly (at about 11% each) in endodontics, periodontics, pediatrics, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and others. Contributing authors include not only otolaryngologists, but also experts from the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine, head and neck pathology, oral pathology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, law, and others. He is board-certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. |
