The pacemaker pocket was placed beneath the pectoral muscle in 92 patients (59%) and subcutaneous in 49 patients (32%) through the subclavicular incision, and under the pectoral muscle in 14 patients (9%) through the axillary incision at the initial implantation.
Two weeks later he developed fever, chills and flucturance of the pacemaker pocket and presented to our hospital.
