In addition to accreditation by the NFSTC and the AABB, Sorenson Genomics validates its Y chromosome and identity products through participation in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Standard Reference Materials, and its parentage testing through the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Proficiency Testing Program. More recently, Zoogen has developed a genetic system called DNA PawPrint for the identification of canines for parentage testing and security purposes. |
