In this paper, we review reported threats to Golden-cheeked Warbler populations, interpret them relative to new information on population densities and breeding and wintering habitat extent, and consider the possible theoretical implications concerning the point in the annual cycle where Golden-cheeked Warbler population limitation might occur.
