Thirty-five percent of visits with a pharmacist for emergency contraception resulted in a referral to a clinic or physician, most often for ongoing contraception, but also for screening for sexually transmitted refections and for primary care.
They fruitfully combine refections on the structural preconditions of violence, its alignment with issues of power and distribution, with powerful analysis of the ideological and symbolic repertoire which makes violence possible.
