Australian author Brugman excels at both slapstick (an awkward first romance creates some hilariously disastrous encounters) and more subtle, character-based humor (as when Rachel tries out generic forms of address to save the trouble of remembering names: "Come sit by me a while, cohort"), and she gifts all her characters with real human qualities.
Whenever possible, send packages home or directly to the recipients to save the trouble of wrapping and carrying.
As wireless devices become cheaper it will save the trouble of needing to find a PC.
