Similar to the unicast BGP, MBGP allows for the sectioning off of multicast domains and provides a mechanism for the communication of multicast routing information between domains.
We know this simple tool is not 100 percent foolproof but it could act as a deterrent much like asking for proof of age when purchasing alcohol or viewing an R-rated movie and sectioning off the adult section in the video store.
