The New York Times ran an expose about disgruntled sophisticates in SoHo who are pissed off over Etnies' new rooftop ramp.
Created by Adam Naim & Sebastian Giuliano of Brooklyn--based Bricolage designs, The Simone's five-story architectural design creates a clean, modern upscale environment intended to lure urban sophisticates.
The film easily could have turned into slapstick or farce, which would not have necessarily been bad, but ``Junebug,'' directed by Phil Morrison, manages to gibe at the sophisticates and locals equally and with a sense of understanding.
