Question

Country: United States of America
State: Washington
A girl I lived with for a few months 6 years ago is threatening to sue me.Says she already talked to a lawyer. Our relationship fell apart, and she kicked me out. There was I believe 9 months left on the lease. she chose not to get a roommate, finished out the lease. Now, she wants to sue me for hat would have been my share of the rest of the lease. I don't think she has a leg to stand on. Am I right?

Answer

If she kicked you out she cannot successfully sue you...
