A late breakfast at the guesthouse of K H Patil Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hulkoti -- named after H K Patil's father -- was sumptious with spicy puffed rice of the north Karnataka kind called churmuri , curd, dosas, upma, sweets and several accompaniments followed by fruits.
However, I resisted and continued forth towards the hot plates with their sumptious selections, some quietly bubbling in their own juices or gravy.
