Hypogastric (caudal) omphalocele are supposed to be a defect of tail fold and are usually associated with anomalies of hindgut, bladder exostrophy, colonic atresia and sacral meningomyelocele.
CONCLUSION: In the current case omphalocele with sacral meningocele must have resulted due to arrest of tail fold migration.
