11, 2001, Tim Ransdell, who works a block from the Capitol, and his wife, Lynn Scheppers, who teaches school a block from the White House, enjoyed working close to major seats of power. It doesn't say in the information about the author that she is a Mormon herself, but she was born in Provo, Utah and now teaches school in Salt Lake City, so she certainly has some firsthand knowledge of the Mormons and their history. Proceeds from the annual forecasting dinner will be donated to CFALA's Economic Literacy Program that teaches school children from underprivileged areas about stock market investing. |
