It tells me to turn from sin and turn in faith to Jesus; it offers the hope of heaven to sinners like me, even those whose sins include homosexuality (1 Corinthians 6:911). To be a member of a Presbyterian church, people are asked to commit to only the bare minimum of things -- trust in Jesus, a willingness to turn from sin and a commitment to discipleship. |
