Used as a specimen tree, or in clusters or stands, this maple will grow 50 to 60 feet tall and be about 30 to 40 feet wide.
It is thought that a specimen note must not have existed so the number 1 note was then used as a specimen, which would have been kept by the government for reference purposes.
This is also a full-hardy plant and can add height and structure to a border or can be used as a specimen plant.
