Around 80 drivers based at the Mail Centre in Newtown and a further 100 from the National parcels hub in Coventry were joining a series of 24-hour walkouts from 4am.
A union spokesman said: "If, after the initial Bank Holiday walkout, this is not settled and employers are continuing to play hard ball, there will be subsequent 24 hour walkouts that could hit the FA Cup semi-finals.
A spokesman said the second three walkouts were in fact staff holding meetings during breaks.
