AS. A word purely Latin. It has two significations. First, it signifies weight, and in this sense, the Roman as, is the same thing as the Roman pound, which was composed of twelve ounces. It was divided also into many other parts (as may be seen in the law, Servum de hoeredibus, Inst. Lib. xiii. Pandect,) viz. uncia, 1 ounce; sextans, 2 ounces; quodrans, 3 ounces; triens, 4 ounces quincunx, 5 ounces; semis, 6 ounces; septunx, 7 ounces; bes, 8 ounces, dodrans, 9 ounces; dextans, 10 ounces; deunx, 11 ounces.
     2. From this primitive and proper sense of the word another was derived: that namely of the totality of a thing, Solidum quid. Thus as signified the whole of an inheritance, so that an heir ex asse, was an heir of the whole inheritance. An heir ex triente, ex semisse, ex besse, or ex deunce, was an heir of one-third, one-half, two-thirds, or eleven-twelfths.

EAP-TLS is a dual-certificate model, with one certificate assigned to fine wireless client and the other to the authentication server. This type of mutual authentication gives security-minded enterprise adopters a more secure deployment because both the client and server are being authenticated prior to the normal 802.1X key exchange process.
Moreover, three authorization models of Kerberos--name server, authentication server, and public list server--can be integrated to provide integrity assurance.
A new approach has been proposed to shut down access to the authentication server for a period of time to enable the distribution of randomly generated keys to users in a relatively secure way [7].
In this time, authentication server want to receive about user or device information such as ID, Password, Bioinformatics, and so on.
The new option enables customers to tie their authentication server directly into the gateway services, using a customer's ActiveDirectory user account management software to provide a centralised website access control and log management, reducing operational overheads for system administrators.
The solution works with or without an authentication server, and in single- and multi-vendor environments.
Release 5.30 for AXIS StorPoint CD El 00 also features a remote authentication server capability that enables StorPoint to be easily integrated into remote Macintosh environments where security is important.
The privacy of the mobile nodes is achieved by using a family of pseudo-IDs issued from the authentication server (AS).
