crystallization

the fixing of a floating charge on assets. Where money borrowed by a company is secured by a floating charge over the company's assets and undertaking, the company may continue trading and dispose of any assets in the course of that business. If the company defaults on its obligations under the terms of the loan agreement, the charge will crystallize, that is, immediately attach to the assets owned by the company at that time. Crystallization is therefore the process by which a floating charge becomes fixed on to particular assets.

At higher [T.sub.ic] (i.e., 115 and 120[degrees]C), closer to PLLA's melting temperature, the crystallization process of PLLA matrix took longer and the crystallization exothermic peaks became broader in shape, leading to longer times for the completion of crystallization.
This study applies the rotational viscometer method to measure the viscosity of the CaO-Si[O.sub.2]-[Al.sub.2][O.sub.3]-MgO-Ti[O.sub.2] blast furnace slag system and investigates the effects of changes in [Al.sub.2][O.sub.3] content on the fluidity of blast furnace slag and on the phase transition law during the cooling crystallization process. The major conclusions are presented as follows:
To investigate the growth of HAP in the surface calcite during the induced crystallization process, the amount of calcite before and after this process in IC column was measured in a long-term test of 120 days.
The choice of these values is crucial in order to reduce, as much as possible, the disturbance during the crystallization and ensure that the whole crystallization process occurs in the range of sensitivity of the equipment.
Besides, the spherulite morphology of PLLA with TTAD during isothermal crystallization process was observed by POM.
It is produced through a proprietary compound crystallization process that binds pure cane sugar and Reb A stevia together.
When water changes from liquid into ice, the crystallization process releases heat, which is transferred up through the ice column.
The sea salt it uses is prepared with a special evaporation and crystallization process that results in a lower-sodium sea salt, unlike what you buy in the store.
Its products aim to standardize the crystallization process for protein crystallography and include prefilled screening tools, reagents and microplates.
In addition to demonstrating how these highly organized amelogenin structures serve as scaffolds for enamel formation, the findings suggest that the same protein structures might initiate, or nucleate, the crystallization process, the researchers say.
Although advances have been made through practical experience, a need remains for systematic and principled studies to improve our deep understanding of the crystallization process and provide a basis for the planning of successful new experiments.
