Lands Tribunal

a tribunal set up under the Lands Tribunal Act 1949 with jurisdiction to determine questions relating, inter alia, to:
  1. (i) compensation for the compulsory purchase of land; and
  2. (ii) the extinguishment or modification of restrictive covenants under Section 84 of the Law of Property Act 1925. In Scotland, the Lands Tribunal for Scotland discharges corresponding functions.
