Lord Lyon King of Arms head of administration in matters heraldic in Scotland. He acts as heraldic judge in civil and criminal matters. It is an ancient office. The Lyon Court sits on the days of the ancient druidic feasts of Beltane and Samhain. The Lyon Court has all the powers of an ordinary court, such as to fine and imprison.
