Subsequent dilutions were made with Krebs
Ringer solution at the time of experimentations.
Thereafter, cells were harvested, washed, and incubated for 30 min at 37[degrees]C in NaCl
ringer solution (see above) containing 25 nM of the inner mitochondrial membrane potential ([DELTA][[PSI].sub.m]) specific dye tetramethylrhodamine ethyl ester perchlorate (TMRE, Invitrogen) and [DELTA][[PSI].sub.m] was analyzed by flow cytometry in fluorescence channel FL-2 (logarithmic scale).
The cannula was inserted in the vein and the thread was tied to assure that the cannula is in place which is in turn connected to a Marriott's bottle containing frog
ringer solution. A small cut in one of the aorta was given for the ringer to come out.
The bathing solution was normal
Ringer solution, which included 110 mM NaCl, 4 mM KCl, 2 mM Ca[Cl.sub.2], 2 mM Mg[Cl.sub.2], 10 mM Trizma, and 11 mM glucose.
After incubation erythrocytes were washed in
Ringer solution and then loaded with Fluo-3/AM (Biotium, Hayward.
(ii) in
Ringer solution of pH = 7.58; the phase angles have values of -84[degrees] and -80[degrees] for the bare alloy and of -86[degrees] and -82[degrees] for the anodized alloy, namely, a more insulating passive film existing on the nanostructured alloy surface;
The potential in 1LA was +81.35mV which indicated higher corrsion resistance of 316L in lactic acid than in
ringer solution. Bursts of anodic current near pitiing potential was observed in RS1B and RS4B.
For both the titanium alloys systems /
Ringer solution it was noticed that for the Ti6Al4V and Ti6Al7Nb plastic deformed alloys, the electrode potential in open circuit has a lower values than the alloys in a cast or normalized state.
It is common practice to give 20-40 U of oxytocin in 1 L of lactated
Ringer solution after delivery of the placenta and to perform uterine massage as part of initial management of uterine atony, along with careful evaluation and repair of any laceration or hematoma.
At the beginning of each perfusion, microdialysis probes were rinsed in microvials containing
Ringer solution for 5 min.
After addition of histidine, b-wave amplitudes doubled (2.2 [+ or -] 0.4; mean [+ or -] SEM), while the average picrotoxin response was only slightly larger (by 0.12 [+ or -] 0.07) than the response in the control
Ringer solution. Reversibility of the histidine enhancement of the b-wave response (log I = -1.7, normalized to the picrotoxin response at that intensity) is shown in Figure 1G.
