At a contentious trustees meeting, we recommended that the college increase its financial
aid budget by 300 percent.
Financial
aid laws and implications: According to the "2006-2007 Free Application for Federal Student
Aid" (FAFSA), a student who seeks Federal financial
aid and plans to enter college in September 2007, for example, must file an application no earlier than January 2007.
That's the essence of the financial-aid shell game, played with international foreign
aid (and, in a slightly modified version, with "free trade" agreements).
More than 20 million people have died of
AIDS since it was first identified in 1981.
In addition, this requirement delays delivery of emergency food
aid by an average of nearly five months.
"The CBA has opted to pursue the litigation route out of a sense of profound frustration with cuts to legal
aid that have resulted in a vacuum in access to justice for the poor in this province," says CBA'S McGrath.
Her condition improved significantly, however, after her medical

In 2006 the world marked a somber anniversary--25 years since the first
AIDS diagnosis.
The problem of too much information to handle well applies not only in conferences but every day in
AIDS, as so much is happening that no one could be aware of it all.
My scientific detachment didn't live long;
AIDS soon became more than a medical curiosity for me.
