These examples show nothing directly about LDA, but they do indicate that a complement-taking verb like claim permits both human DP subjects denoting people and nonhuman ones denoting documents and moreover that both types can antecede pronouns but not reflexives in parallel positions in their complements.
That this is not the case is already shown by cases like examples 12a and b, 13a, b, and c, 16b, 18, and 20 as well as by the failed inanimate antecedents' ability to, for instance, happily antecede emphatic reflexives:
Because, in the prepositional construct of Jacques's panorama, the before that antecedes one in time also designates all that is arrayed in one's view.
However, to actually breach that disjunction, that incommensurability and its impossible pursuit of impossibility, would be to fall into a phenomenalism of adequation, into an esthetic ideology that antecedes sublimity and is, in terms Kantian, still within the realm of reflective judgment where "the capacity to conceive and the capacity to present an object corresponding to the concept" (Lyotard, 77) is still possible.
10) It is historical, Foucault seems to be saying, because it is the product of our history, and it is a priori because it
antecedes the ways in which we classify the world (more on this later).
