the technique by which criminals or suspects are fitted with an electronic transmitter. It is used for smoothing the integration of convicts to society. 12-16 year olds who are remanded to local authority accommodation maybe tagged and monitored. The tagging often includes a curfew- hours between which the taggee must stay at home.
