A forcible detention is when the taking of a person is unlawful.
A violent offender against youth is defined for purposes of these rules as any person who commits first degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated kidnapping, unlawful restraint, aggravated unlawful restraint, child abduction, forcible detention, or an attempt to commit these crimes against a youth as defined by the criminal code governing those offenses.
