According to the company, the primary efficacy endpoint of this programme is a stable platelet response by week 24 with platelet counts at or above 50,000 per microliter of blood for at least four of the final six qualifying blood draws.
The company added that PERSIST-2 is a randomised, open-label, multicentre Phase 3 clinical trial evaluating the company's pacritinib compared to best available therapy, including the approved JAK1/JAK2 inhibitor dosed according to product label for patients with myelofibrosis whose platelet counts are less than or equal to 100,000 per microliter.
Software calculates the concentration of target DNA as copies per microliter. The system uses microfluidic circuits and surfactant chemistries to divide a microliter mixture of sample and reagents into the monodisperse droplets, which support PCR amplification of single template molecules using homogeneous assay chemistries and workflows similar to those used for real-time PCR applications.
