In the first seven months of 1999, the industrial
production index rose 2.9% to 150.1 from 145.9 in the same period of 1998.
On annual basis in October 2017 Industrial
Production Index calculated from working day adjusted data rose in the manufacturing by 5.5% and in mining and quarrying industry by 4.3%, while the production fell in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 8.8%.
On an annual basis, the
production index for energy fell by 3.2%, the index for intermediate inputs increased by 3.7%.
Analysis of Industrial
Production Index developments for January 2010 indicated an increase in the following major groups compared to December 2009:
In recent years, sales of light vehicles including imports have, in general, held near 15 million units, and the related
production index was only 2 1/2 percent higher in 1997 than it was in 1994.
In July 2017 as compared to June 2017, the seasonally adjusted Industrial
Production Index increased in the manufacturing by 0.5%, while a decrease was seen in the mining and quarrying industry by 3.4% and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 0.7%.
The Value of
Production Index in August also grew by 8.4 percent, reversing the 5.8-percent decline last year.
The MOEA attributed the lingering positive growth in overall industrial
production index partly to strong market demand in such emerging nations as India and the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and partly to the effects of the cross-Taiwan Strait ECFA (economic cooperation framework agreement) that took effect on Jan.
The industrial
production index increased by an annual 1.4%, which the index measuring construction output fell by 5.2% year-on-year.
In the same period the industrial
production index fell by 8.7%.
The overall Industrial
Production Index (IPI) had 0.42% increase in September 2009 compared to August 2009, it is reached to 112.40 September, compared to 111.93 in August 2009 Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said.<p>It added the results indicated that there was a 0.42% increase in the industrial
