Although these proteins differ somewhat in
relative molecular mass, from ~40 000 to 80 000, separations by size-exclusion chromatography are dependent on the shape and hydrodynamic radius of proteins rather than directly on their molecular mass.

The 29/27 ratio of natural CN in the sample [(29/27).sub.Sample], the molecular fraction at m/z 27 from natural CN in the sample (Ab [27.sub.Sample]), and the
relative molecular mass of cyanide ([M.sub.r] CN) are constants.
However, the observed molecular mass of the major component was ~44 mass units higher than the mean
relative molecular mass of the principal known isoform of cTnT, calculated from its amino acid sequence (17).
