This finding may be related to the fact that 2/3 of the 31 institutions that had an HB[O.sub.2] chamber had only a monoplace chamber and that, until 2012, monoplace chambers were restricted to therapeutic pressures [less than or equal to] 2.0 ATA by the Japanese Society of Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine, if they were pressurized with oxygen.
